Free Initial ConsultationTherapy is a collaborative experience. To find out if what I offer is a good fit for your needs, I am happy to offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. This conversation will give you the opportunity to tell me a little about you and what you are looking for from therapy and to ask any questions you have about me or therapy in general.

Individual TherapyI provide individual psychotherapy services to individuals aged 18 and older. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and payment is due at the time services are provided. Intensive sessions (90 min / 120 min) are available by request. The length of time someone is in therapy varies greatly depending on their needs and goals and we will work collaboratively to set timelines and goals for therapy. *Find details on ADHD and Trauma therapy below* |
What To Expect
My work is informed by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy model, Attachment Theory, Existential Theory, and Feminist Theory. I use a resilience-centered approach which views all parts of us with compassion, gentleness, and curiosity. I will sometimes use more structured cognitive tools informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which can be useful in identification of unhelpful thought patterns and provide you with healthy coping alternatives.
My approach will be tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Therapy can become a transformative relationship which will help facilitate your journey toward authenticity, growth, and healing.
I view our work with a non-pathologizing and anti-oppression lens. My style is thoughtful, playful, and direct. I do not view any human as needing to be "fixed", but rather as a whole person with many complex parts.

ADHD Therapy The most effective place to start with ADHD therapy is understanding on an intellectual, emotional, and body level how ADHD (officially diagnosed or not) has currently and historically affected your life. How much of your time, energy, self-worth, relationships, or confidence has been effected by how symptoms of ADHD was viewed by others in your society, culture, schools, and home? Doing this first may feel slow or counter-intuitive, but will lead to deeper and longer lasting change. When we allow ourselves grieve, process, and move toward building a life that works for our unique ways of being in the world, we find strategies and systems that help us feel empowered and move us toward the versions of us we were meant to be. |
Trauma Therapy It is now considered common knowledge that trauma is located in the body, and cannot be effectively addressed with talk therapy alone. This means that during sessions we will not only focus on your intellectual understanding of your symptoms and patterns, but will bring in awareness to your body's natural response to certain topics, feelings, and environments. This perspective is backed by neuroscience and I make a point to remain as up-to-date on the latest understanding of how our nervous system is affected by trauma and the most effective, holistic, and non-pathologizing strategies for healing. |
Pricing and Insurance Information
Individual Therapy Rates:
- Initial 20-minute phone consult = NO CHARGE
- 60-minute session = $180
- 90-minute intensive session = $245
Using Insurance?
I do not bill insurance at this time. Accepted payment methods include debit/credit cards or HSA/FSA cards with an online payment option.
If you would like to use insurance to cover your individual therapy sessions, I would be considered an 'out-of-network' provider. My services are often covered in part by your health insurance, but I encourage you to call your insurance provider and ask if individual mental health therapy is covered by your out-of-network benefits. I will gladly provide reimbursement documentation if requested.
Spring Health EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
If your employer offers an employee assistance program through Spring Health as part of your benefits package, you may be able to receive free or reduced therapy through their platform. Please inquire via Contact page, or ask your employer for more information.
